I’m a soundless,
Tangling pile of roots
Wrapping around your mind.
I wake in the muddledness
Of your thoughts,
Longing to suckle the nutrients
Of your soul,
And fest until I’m grown.
How damp and deluded it is here…
Why do you keep that memory?
How can you feel that emotion?
When will you need to change?
I’ll whither in this place
Until you become yourself again.
Soundless
